Mayor: Wears Valley fire about 5% contained, about 11,000 homes evacuated

Well folks, here we go again. Over 3500 acres burned so far with several structures total loss or heavy damage. This is near the area that burned in 2016 with 17 persons lost and hundreds of homes/businesses burned. Most of the effort is being undertaken by volunteer agencies as there just isn't enough full-time staff to handle a disaster of this magnitude.
