McCain doesn't want Trump at funeral, friends tell White House

How is expressing your wishes for your funeral petty or pathetic? I mean he won't know if Trump showed up or not...but I fail to see how last wishes are petty or pathetic. It's like telling someone if they don't invite a specific person to their wedding it's petty or pathetic...it's their day.

I bet McCain's family doesn't want Trump there either and that is who would have to deal with it.

Considering what he's facing, I don't see him as petty and pathetic. He's just making his last wishes known before they shovel dirt on him. I know many Vets don't like him, because I've read some of the comments about his contribution to the Forrestal fire, and his preferential treatment in captivity. That's their call, but IMO anyone that is dying deserves a level of respect, unless they were a totally bad person for all their days.

I regret voting for McCain when he was seeking the Republican nomination. Woulda, coulda, shoulda ... just as he "wishes" he hadn't chosen Palin as his running mate ... I wish I hadn't chosen him to run on the Republican ticket.
