It makes me so angry. It is like them deciding soldier isn't inclusive and changing it. It is beyond stupid and doesn't address the real issues women face.

Removing "man" from job titles and enlisted rank is the stupidest thing I've ever heard of. Not once did I take offence to "man" or "men" during my 8 1/2 years on active duty and 6 in active reserves. It is tradition and should stay just the way it is.
If they really want to make the Navy more inclusive they should address the attitudes toward women in the military. It may have changed but when I served we were always treated like the mascots. I mean that literally. Like dogs. We had to work harder, better and longer than the men to get half the respect.
