Jeremy Timpf from Tucson, AZ was named a football captain at Army West Point last year as a junior. A linebacker who is constantly making plays, this season he shares the captains duties with fellow inside linebacker Andrew King. Last season the Black Knights defense kept them in many close games and are counting on this experience to get back in Bowl contention and break the streak with Navy. Jeremy is a great example of what the military leaders are like, they listen, they take in what is going on around them, consider what is best for their team, and offer a few well chosen comments. We had a chance to talk to the Army Captain after practice on Saturday.

Just back from Army football Media Day. Did five more player interviews. They seem to be popular so far. Army opens at Temple in Philadelphia Friday night of Labor Day weekend.
