I guess we will have to wait and see how the President's initiatives for the VA hospitals work out. It sure wasn't anything positive under the last administration.

Despite the impetus for MAGA, Trump has 200 foreign workers working at Mar-a-Lago.

That’s because his policies have created a paucity of American workers. Seven million jobs open. Do you have something against legal foreign workers? Perhaps if our unemployed citizens would take the jobs, they could compete for the 200 jobs and get off the government teat.

So, are you saying you liked the way the VA had been managed over the past 40 years? Perhaps, you meant that you'd prefer it be managed the way it has been since the 1970's because that is better than anything Pres. Trump might do? There are programs within the U.S. gov't that run right and shouldn't be changed for change sake....the VA "ain't" one of them.

Its how the government works. There is an Agency, in this case the VA, and it has a person that is nominated by the president and approved by the senate. That person is responsible for everything the VA does and fails to do. The only reason it has anything to do with Trump is because he is the current president and he is allowing this to happen. Over the last 40 years, there have been problems, but when those problems are discovered, the person(s) in charge have been held accountable. This shadow group will never be held accountable. Could you imagine having a group of people that ran the DoD of the books?

CPT Adam P. - Have they really been held accountable? I know there has been some local VA hospital employees that have been arrested for misconduct, but has any national level leadership ever been held accountable for systemic program failure?
