LTC David Brown - I'm guessing roman Legion NCO's dealt with this kind of thing as well.

MSgt Stephen Council - I saw a program “ Letters from The Front” about letters writt3n by Roman soldiers stationed at Hadrons wall in northern England. It was kind of an SSDD. One asking parents for money. Talking about local girls . Talking about skills of soldiers from other countries. Asking parents to send cloths. The commander’s wife complained about being in the backwater. She wanted to know about new clothes styles. People really don’t change a lot.
