I follow, I've gathered the Japanese swords have always been considerably more sophisticated than the European variety, from all I'd seen and read...I just found interesting esp the scenes cutting bamboo in the video, as those I'd practiced with only used the mock metal variety, of course, I was told the real ones are, of course, very tightly controlled, certainly...I just found the real ones actually being used in the video, as opposed to in some film esp fascinating, I'd known those really high in iaido are trained to use them, though I obv know little or nothing of the specifics involved, of course, as I'd said, I'd only practiced with he wooden dummy version, you understand....

Yeah, I did find that pretty neat, actually....
