The "Chaplains Memorial Preservation Act" was just introduced in the US Senate on May 26th, by Senators Raphael Warnock of Georgia and John Boozman of Arkansas to support the project.
The project proposes to add 25 names of chaplains who died in service during Korean War, Vietnam, Cold War and Post 9-11 conflicts, add one name to Catholic Chaplains monument, and donate a new granite upright to the Protestant Monument replacing an aging concrete piece. The project would entirely be paid for project participants and involve no cost to the governement.
The discussion with Ken Kraetzer of Sons of the American Legion Radio covers the history of chaplains serving the US Military, the service chaplains continue to perform today, and the project to update Chaplains Hill.
Supporters of this project are asked to call their Members of Congress and ask they cosponsor the legislation.
