It isn't hard... use your brain, not emotion. We don't have to be robots, but when you don't even use the sense you were given, then you are ripe for over reach (not you of course, Jack, I was speaking of the metaphorical you)...

Anyways, how do we rectify such a situation and yet still "empower" women? Do we legally crucify those who make blatant false accusations, opening the doors to counter investigations into the accuser ensuring that their accusation isn't fake and motivated by nefarious reasons? What kind of precedent would we set then? How do we ensure that the world is a level playing field?
Has some things from MeToo been good? Sure, but, when injected by BelieveWomen and I'm sure other political shenanigans, it's become a cancerous blight that is killing it's own cause. If anything, the fair and equal application of the law should be the primary concern and not this jockeying of virtues in it's place.
