This seems inconsistent of what I have heard from people who have served with LTG Flynn. I am disappointed.

How so, sir? From what I understand of the commands he held, he has a track record of telling lies, even earning such statements the title of "Flynn Facts" due to his misrepresentation of facts during his time as the director of the DIA. This isn't surprising to me at all.

2ndLt (Join to see) - I know many senior officers who have served with him and speak highly of him. I don't know him personally so I am relying on the judgment of people I do know and trust.
It appears that he may have changed once he got into DIA. I don't know anyone that knows him from that environment.
