"No-go" zones are areas where a nation has lost sovereignty. Think about that. And what about nations that surrender sovereignty to gangs? Think it couldn't happen here? When the governor of Arizona complained to President Obama that Mexican drug cartels had taken control of a significant area north of the Mexican border, he responded by having signs posted along the southern most highways warning Americans to stay away and pilots of small aircraft to go fly somewhere else. In other words, he ceded sovereignty to the drug cartels.

How sad
In the mid 80’s I walked freely in that area of Cologne with not a safety concern.
Some of the younger locals would cop an attitude with Army guys but that was somewhat self inflected .... as there was always “that guy” that lived up to the ugly American stereotype

Many citizens in many countries are having such problems and complaining so loudly that laws are starting to be passed to stop the open boarders. Of course the sane'r countries are reacting first.

It doesn’t appear the open border philosophy of Germany was a good idea. The Germany I lived in was a fairytale and I loved every minute of it. I also explored every nook and cranny of cities, towns and villages including Cologne. Nowadays, as Chevy Chase would say, “roll em up!”
