Military and intelligence officials warn of climate risk as Trump dismisses it

Another misleading headline. A State Department official said "Climate change could undermine...international systems...". Military and Intel officials spoke about the second-order effects of a warming arctic...which would provide more opportunities for Russia to conduct mining and shipping in the arctic. They spoke of Russia as the threat. A warming Earth (since the Little Ice Age) is just one of many variables in how the world is changing and presents new challenges and opportunities. Climate Change isn't the threat, but the world keeps changing and we need to keep up with the changes or the REAL threats will take advantage of them.
