It was very disheartening when I got out and went to our EMS service here in Kansas and after showing the director my credentials and history back in 1983 and he looks at me and says "well that all sums up to practical expierience. Without a Kansas EMT license I could not work for anyone in the state." So I moved on to Nuclear power and got my EMT credentials there and have served as an EMT for over 34 years. To have a program offered to our medical professionals when they get out is a big plus in my books. Thanks for sharing.
