So if you can and have time review the CSPAN video of the Fed Chairman in front of a Senate Committee attempting to explain to them who is responsible for what and how monetary policy works, it is a shocker. Dated July 17, 2018. We already have people in office at or below Ocasio-Cortez's understanding of Economics.........it's in the CSPAN video on the CSPAN site. I think it was CSPAN2. Favorite quote from the Fed Chairman: "We don't have those tools but you do".........translated: Thats not my job it's yours.
The video is rather long but skip past the opening statements of each Senator, then the Fed Chairmans opening statement and go directly to the 2 min Q&A period for each Senator.

MSG (Join to see) - Oh I didn't know you were deployed. OK yeah you have kind of like skip past the start and get to Q&A. Some Senators know what is going on but most of them the current talk they are not understanding and some of them complained the last person from the Fed was too technical (one said he didn't speak "English"). It's funny because I understand what he is saying and I don't necessarily have a huge Economics background (close to a minor with my Finance degree requirements).

BTW, world famous Carnagie-Deli is shutdown as well. They opened a small place in Las Vegas so you can still get their food shipped or eat fresh in Las Vegas but they no longer operate in NYC
