They had it so bad at MacDill AFB that they had to gut many of the brand new quarters. Don't know what the situation at Ft Stewart is but here the contract maintenance people ignored tenants complaints. Does the Army maintain barracks or is that contracted out?

The Ft Stewart Department of Public Works is responsible but from what the article said the individual soldiers are responsible to clean, but it comes right back. Ft Stewart is not the only base with this issue.

I was stationed at Stewart for 18 months in the early 80's, we had a problem with mold back then too.
