Its a lose lose operation. They do pose a threat because of the hate doctrine they spew. They are also protected under the first amendment. The more push back this gets also strengthens their position of hate.

If they hold the rally and 10-15 people show up we know that their relative popularity/strength hasn't changed. If hundreds show up, we know this movement is a growing problem. I'd like to know how much of a potential threat they present.

My observation in recent years is these "rallies" never go as advertised. A small group of a dozen or so klansmen/white supremists etc. will show up. The counter protest will be larger and will shout them down. Sometimes it gets a little violent.
I think the only way you can get people like this to reveal themselves for what they are is let them out into the sunlight. Sunlight is a great disinfectant. These organizations are shrinking over time and will, at some point, cease to exist.
