I am glad the son with the rifle shot and killed those three, and I am very glad he is not going to be charged. Now, the next good thing to happen is when the driver is convicted and either sent to prison for life or executed.

Yup. Break into a home, get shot. There's no requirement for the homeowner to "shoot to injure or maim." In fact, the instructor for the concealed carry course I took said that shooting to injure or maim (if you can do it in a crisis situation) shows that you were not in danger of your life. Shooting to kill means you were in fear for your life and that killing the aggressor was the only way to stop the attack. Especially in a 3 on 1 scenario, aiming for extremities would be difficult for most people.
The getaway driver was likely "sticking to the Code" (a la Pirates of the Caribbean) that says "Anyone who falls behind, gets left behind."

Home owners for the win...but the news report sowed its bias by stating "HE MOWED DOWN" the intruders, Home owner will not be charge because of OK's so-called MAKE MAKE DAY LAW
