There are Democrats in North Texas that like to live with the wild rats. I can't explain it. I know that when Dallas had a severe homeless problem the Democratic Mayor at the time (Luara Miller). Handled it properly and humanely at times even with her little daughter along with her, to teach her daughter about homelessness. How many politicians do you see do that.

Maybe that's why I live in South Texas. No rats, just wild pigs that we dispatch then BBQ.

LTC (Join to see) - Yeah believe it or not we have an app called NextDoor where we can online chat with our neighbors in our subdivision or a few subdivisions over. It is pretty cool and a lot of the neighbors share their RING doorbell videos of suspicious people as well. Anyway this lady was like 4-5 subdivisions over and I tried to tell her that putting food out for stray cats and dogs was leading to her rat issues and she wouldn't hear none of it. No, she said she doesn't feed the rats, she only feeds the stray cats and dogs. Her neighbors are pretty fed up with her as they have to deal with the rats as well...........man was she dense though. Save the animals ......backyard bambi type person. Also told her that while most naturalists support backyard bird feeders (which she also had spilling on the ground), most conservationalists are against the practice and says it actually harms the bird life longer term.
