More National Guard Members Now Eligible for VA Loans

This is excellent news!

I still don’t qualify. Going to be eligible in almost 3 years. We are hoping to close next month on a new home, but with 30 year conventional loans so low we went ahead and took a 30 year fixed loan instead of 5-1 ARM knowing eventually we would re-finance under the VA home loan. With interest rates so low if I waited 3 years (could be less if I mob or deploy for the minimum time period) the interest rates will probably be back up to the point a VA home loan will be no better percentage wise vs my current conventional loan.
