Most people on this planet do not perceive Maps nor Directions in the same way Americans do?

Trying to explain to others where my sister-in-law lives is very difficult. She lives on the Navajo reservation in Arizona. Once you are out on the reservation, few roads have names.

I'll stick with street names!
