Motorcycle rider beheaded in San Bernardino freak accident

That is a strange accident. prayers to his family.

Note to self: Stay the hell away from San Bernadino. Bad things happen out that way. Motorcycling is a dangerous activity. A single second of lapse in notice and awareness can take a leg or your life. It is also an exhilarating way to spend time. Heck of a balance between the awe from being pushed back in the seat, and the horror of realizing you are headed for a crash with a poor outcome. It's a fine line to walk. I think I'll continue riding until I am in my grave. I enjoy it too much to give it up, even after reading stories like this.

Same thing happened in Tinley Park, IL when a kid riding a minibike at night rode past a telephone pole and clotheslined himself on the guy wire. He didn't see it. That happened probably 40 years ago. I remember hearing about it when I was growing up.
