"closed-door testimony to the House Select Subcommittee "
That makes me question accuracy of the alleged testimony right from the start.

Its was a transcribed interview - from the transcript Dr. Fauci claimed that the policies and mandates he promoted may unfortunately increase vaccine hesitancy for years to come. He testified that the lab leak hypothesis — which was often suppressed — was, in fact, not a conspiracy theory. Further, the social distancing recommendations forced on Americans ‘sort of just appeared’ and were likely not based on scientific data. Most importantly - Dr. Fauci was unable to confirm if NIAID has ANY mechanisms to conduct oversight of the foreign laboratories they fund. This is especially alarming knowing and confirming that a 2020 email, previously released by the Select Subcommittee, proved Dr. Fauci was aware of dangerous gain-of-function research occurring in Wuhan, China. He backtracked in the interview by arguing he should not have stated that as “fact.” But that's what Mr. Science said anyway despite having a diverse science background.
Things I'd like to know how much did he make via patents, salary or other during the pandemic. Betting the dude made millions while millions died. Can't confirm that but a lot of money was made - Moderna alone made $36 billion.
Moderna paid royalties to NIH and two American universities in December for Moderna’s licensing of a spike-protein technique used in its mRNA COVID-19 vaccine.
Moderna financial reports described it as “catch-up royalty payment of $400 million to the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases,” which is one of the NIH’s 27 institutes and centers. But the Times said the payment would be split between NIH, Dartmouth College and the Scripps Research Institute, whose researchers patented the method used by Moderna.
“The individual scientists who helped invent the technique are also likely to receive a portion of the payment, experts said,” according to the Times.
The newspaper noted that, by the end of 2021, seven other pharmaceutical companies, including BioNTech, had agreed to pay those same three institutions for using the same technique in their COVID-19 vaccines.
As part of its licensing agreement, Moderna said NIAID also will receive “low single-digit royalties on future net sales” of Moderna’s vaccines, which brought in over $36 billion in revenue from 2020 to 2022. NIH redacted who received payments - why?

With a diverse science background all I can say is you posting propaganda.

Which part? Him saying there was no science behind the 6' feet protocol, not wearing a mask, or funding research in China. Please explain what "information" is propaganda? I would argue that some of the stuff Fauci said was propaganda as he was running the NIAID. Seems making stuff up to push a narrative is the definition of propaganda - information, especially of a biased or misleading nature, used to promote or publicize a particular point of view.
