Her story was met with widespread skepticism and Fox News host Tucker Carlson even called Reid’s version of events “ludicrous fantasies,” while others have pointed to the Library of Congress archives to debunk her claim. While MSNBC has stayed silent, Reid’s attorney issued a statement claiming the FBI is now involved.

Can you imagine if this had been one of the talking heads at Fox and all of these messages had come to light? It would be lights out, the party is over. I do think she is likely misrepresenting what happened. I doubt she was hacked, the messages are hers and she would have been far better off facing the music early.
