I am unfortunately, not surprised to hear that some of the Capital Police did not behave appropriately. Some of them have a history of violence.

The House blocked all attempts for a trully independent investigation and cleared all Capitol Police of some of their more questionable actions. It has yet to be proven that even if the protestors broke into the same room with the Congresspeople that anyone would have been hurt. Nobody has proven in any court room that I am aware of where there was a plot to harm even one Congressperson. It's all in a false narrative to cover-up the horrible lapses in security as well as the horrible training by the Capitol Police. Quite possibly this will all happen again in the future since they swept most of the stuff under the rug. Perhaps next time it will be a leftist protest that breaks through and someone belonging to Congress actually does get hurt.
