An excellent article about the roles the Puddle Pirates play in serving the country, and why this best-selling former Coastie has decided to take them to space. While I might argue that the Navy is more suited for most of the future stellar neighborhood roles, he makes a compelling argument for the Coasties. Definitely, I'll be reading those books - his other stuff is stellar, so I don't expect anything less from these.
