1SG Mark Gomez : This needs to be seen by so many people who refuse to understand the history. I would have loved to have seen that entire presentation. I agree that this time and movement feels so much different than the 1960s. I can only hope that this movement is sustained and we move in the right direction. Taking down the statues is one small step in the right direction. Those who disagree with the taking down the statues are part of the systemic racism in this country. Now to dismantle the systemic racism in our government, our educational systems, our economic systems, etc. Great post!
