No, this isn’t satire and I read the entire article. Yes, she’s a politician, but she’s also third in line of succession to be POTUS. I don’t think it’s a job she wants, but it is possible. I suggest all of you read the article before just reading the headline.

I am looking for a silver lining in all of this. Maybe this whole episode will result in what Washington DC really needs - blowing up the establishment and gridlock that we have been suffering through for decades. All of these hacks need to go.
I have no idea who the Democrats will nominate for President, but if it is one of the "out there" loons, we are in deep trouble and Trump would get reelected, if he survives this impeachment effort. If Trump is removed from office, I can't see Pence being the guy, nor someone who can fill the void on short notice.
As the Chinese Proverb goes - we are doomed to live in interesting times.

She's very politically astute. An investigation is not a call for an impeachment vote and I doubt it will come to that. This has gone no further than it did before, it is just an announcement by Pelosi that she is officially behind the investigation.
