Interesting share @Maj Robert Thornton... Not sure what the Navy was thinking with this action against the officer. My unit when it came back from Iraq after OIF II (2004-2005), brought back artillery pieces & other war mementos to the US. Although, our leadership followed the rules & paperwork needed to bring the items back.

After reading the article, I cannot fathom why they just didn't let him file the correct paperwork. There is obviously something else going on here. Otherwise, why would you destroy a 28 year career.
