I am going to ignore the gun issue, as I have no idea how we got to the point of filming -- but, there has got to be a way to stop the heroes with the cameras these days...

Everyone is flipping the camera on, and egging people on, all under the umbrella of "protecting themselves"...

It's not protecting yourself if you are instigating the situation...

SGT Jason Anderson That umbrella of protection won't matter if they got hit by a stray bullet and not live to tell.

As a general rule I do not point my weapon at anyone I do not intend to shoot. Having said that being outnumbered and not knowing what happened before the camera was turned on, it is hard to make a determination. Just having the gun on his hip probably would have resolved this issue.

There is not enough information to draw a conclusion; the investigation will have to tell the rest of the story.
