Ends decades of Maritime tradition. Everyone out side of the Naval Service loves it. This action also eliminated the only enlisted Corps of the Navy, Hospital Corpsmen. I guess they will go to rating badges like the Air Force.

Hospital Corpsmen will still be referred to as "Doc"
