Navy veteran US Customs officer loses job and citizenship over his Mexican birth certificate

This is one where Congress needs to get involved.

I get that he did not know. Hopefully he will get all of his benefits and job back. However, as the article states, it is fraud for a Mexican born person to get a US birth certificate. It is illegal and people who are doing it, regardless of reason, should be arrested. I'm not saying he should be arrested, but the person who got the US birth certificate should be.
