I have a feeling that we will see Revolution In Military Affairs (RMA). RMAs is technology, weapons, platforms, or doctrine. For example nations are working on developing hypersonic missiles which by definition travel at Mach 5 or more. Mach 5 means one mile per second. It is problematic as a missile 10 miles away gives us 10 seconds to defend against it. Now what if those missiles have a 1000 mile range? How will it change our Naval doctrine? The future is very open.

Some RMAs for WWII were blitzkrieg, carriers, amphibious operations, P-51s, atomic bombs to name a few.

Technology is great but we have to be prepared (physically and mentally) and use it properly. It won't solve everything for us
