New Canadian Law Bans Mandatory High Heels At Work

It's hard to believe that in this day and age that such archaic rules still exist.

I'm no expert on dress codes for women at work so I asked my wife. She never heard of such a requirement anywhere she ever worked (in the US). So Canadians either have to conform to such things or not based on the whims of their government? Seems tyrannical to me...
