Things are shaping up for SCOTUS to rule on New Jersey's capricious, corrupt, and outrageously unconstitutional gun carry permit system. We can hope for a broad decision that will strike down ALL of the remaining “may issue” laws left (8 states still clinging to their power to decide what is best for their citizens).
Those 8 state legislatures may have to replace their "may issue" laws with "shall issue", or even (gasp!!) "constitutional carry".

One step forward, two steps back. If NJ is hampered by a legal decision they will approve mandatory liability insurance on all firearm owners, put restrictions on the quantity of ammunition purchased per month, etc

I've no doubt that New Jersey will have to be dragged, kicking and screaming, into the rational world, where "shall not be infringed" means exactly that.
