New Public School English Curriculum Lectures Military Children That They Have ‘Privilege’

I feel like I went from poor, half-breed in a small town to a level playing field in the Marine Corps. No one knew me or my background and I could prove myself. I made the bed, literally, that I laid in and went on from there. The privilege is that it is a continuous journey for promotions, opportunity and respect. Earned daily. As a former teacher, the pros and cons of military children balance out as in life, based on the family experience.
