New Sea-Basing Platforms May Aid Embassy Reinforcement, Evacuation

Interesting read Sir, but my opinion is this is the same as putting a lock on a paper door. The moment you put military assets such as helos and Marines on board, these ships become possible military targets, without the quite necessary equipment and crews to protect them (when we're allowed to fight...er...I mean work). Put a couple CIWS and some decent radar on board, along with an AD crew, and then I think we're talking turkey.

This is the first time I have ever seen this story. Very interesting.
