Looks like nothing more than a cover my ass band-aid on the way out the door tome!
The story indicates the bigger problem is reaching those that are not in the VA system....."VA statistics show roughly 20 veterans a day nationwide commit suicide. Of those, only six are active users of VA services."
Brothers & Sisters, that tells me 85% of those Veterans are not active users of VA services.....the problem might just be lack of confidence in the care they will (not) receive.....I'm sorry but this simply looks like a band-aid to me!
