As soon as a population responds to the "possibility" of an act of terrorism with a change in plans by fear, the terrorists have won. Vigilance, and by civilian terms, watching for things that don't seem to fit. I find it interesting that our government doesn't have the news put out to the general populace the means of how to BE vigilant in the fight to prevent acts

COL Mikel J. Burroughs That is the point of terrorism, to exploit fear to change behavior. We cannot allow this to happen. Are we going to bend and say we are not going to celebrate New Years because ISIS,ISIL,Hamas,Hezbollah warns us not to? If so then what do we give up next, Christmas, Hanukkah, Easter, the Passover, 4th of July, Thanksgiving..... I say no, we have to stand up and face this.

Not very surprising news since the incidents in Paris were linked to some terrorists in the low countries COL Mikel J. Burroughs.
At least the authorities in Belgium, France and Germany are well aware that it is Islamic terrorists who are their primary threat at the present. Hopefully out POTUS will have the moral courage to name names soon.
I expect there will be threats in this nation similar but more widespread to the threats against schools in LA etc. I hope and pray that our authorities will be vigilant and will intercept any terrorists who are planning on causing panic and destruction on New Years eve in this nation.
