New York millennial can't afford to move to D.C. before her job in Congress starts

Not the first time, often new young members of Congress sleep in their offices for a while. If they manage to last for a decade or so, it seems to rain money.

Maybe she just expected all her moving expenses would be free? She seems to think everything else is.

Money? Well dear, you explained it all to us. You don’t really count the the cost because you have to pay for housing anyway and the money from your new job will cover the point of origin cost of your new apartment so don’t worry about it since the salary will be more than the current salary. Anyway that is how it works in universal health care and education. Why not the real world?
