A New York state resident was sentenced on Thursday to 22-1/2 years in prison for trying to recruit fighters to join Islamic State in Syria - the longest prison term handed out yet to an American convicted of supporting the militant group.

22.5 years is simply not enough... I'd give him life! Or deport his ass to Syria. Let him blow himself up. This way it won't cost any tax dollars, housing and feeding him while incarcerated. Also, what's to say that he won't continue or try again when he gets out?
