Oh well, those killed Americans would have died anyway, somehow, someway either by natural causes or disease, right? What's the big deal? (sarc)

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Americans have been killed by prisoners released from the detention center at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, a senior Defense Department official told lawmakers Wednesday, triggering sharp criticism from Republicans opposed to shuttering the facility in the wake of deadly attacks by the Islamic State group in Brussels and Paris. Paul Lewis, the Pentagon's special envoy for Guantanamo detention closure, declined to provide the GOP-led House Foreign Affairs Committee with details. He would not say whether the incidents occurred before or after President Barack Obama took office in January 2009. "What I can tell you is unfortunately there have been Americans that have died because of (Guantanamo) detainees," Lewis said during an exchange with Rep. Dana Rohrabacher, R-Calif. "When anybody dies, it is tragedy and we don't want anybody to die because we transfer detainees," Lewis said.

I didn't say that I putting in perspective. The article is irrelevant. Prisons do not reform when you are placed in them and you have to hang around with the same type of person and sit there comparing notes all day. You cannot tell me they do not communicate. Prisoners have been conversing for years with even seeing each other.

So let me get this straight, since some people chose to get drunk and drive and kill others, we should just say oh well, they would have died some day anyway? So now the Obama Admin can say oh well who knows, they might have got hit by lightning and died the next day anyway? Is Obama going to tell the families as they unload the caskets Hey look at it this way, he gets a free funeral and it was caused by a video, not because I let some POW go back to the war zone?

I am not going to get into a pissing contest with people who have a EXTREME bias against Mr. Obama from day one he was elected. As for caskets ask Bush about his war that went so well and is still going!! Yes I brought it up. Oh and they are not POW's they are detainees! You have proven nothing asgainst them. They were captured in undeclared war zone attacking US and allied personnel so they deserve prison and to be charged with murder and be done with it if that is what they did.

This comment should stir up some "conservative" "patriot" "Christian" furor. Because I know that being someone who does not follow that party line is a "liberal" "traitor" "heathen". Because I show compassion for people that truly want to kill us! I will not apologize to anyone for that

So lets ask all you sea lawyers. When a person releases a known killer and they kill again, is the person that released the killer held responsible and share in the guilt?
