The JW's have been banned by my family since I can remember. They are not welcome at any of our doors. I just ask them if that's a copy of "The Watchtower" in their hand. And when they look all surprised, and say "yes, it is!" I close the door in their faces.

Russia is an extremely conservative country and the Russian Orthodox Church wields a lot of political power. I'm not surprised in the least.
