I thought one stood still, faced the flag or the music, placed one’s hand over the heart, and waited until the National Anthem was over? Not sure this gesture is going to repair much of anything.

It is nice seeing one of the players trying to move in a more positive direction. I would rather see more of this than what we have seen in the past.

SCPO (Join to see) - PO3 (Join to see) I agree. WE understand that and it is second nature. Most civilians don't know or care enough to remove headgear or stand at attention. As PO Deitz said, I would rather see this than another kneel down.
