Old news, Al Capp had the Schmoo that tasted like chicken or anything else you wanted it to. What ever happened to them?

Al Capp was ahead of his time. He had big-government liberals in his sights way back in the 1950s. Not only did Capp create Schmoos, there was a "Kick Me" describing liberal guilt.

All I have to say is unless this proves to help decline hunger rates around the world I have no interest. Real food is food. This stuff sounds like a nightmare for the future of food. Who knows what else they could add to it. I will have to share this with my Gastronomy Chef Instructor and see what his thoughts are on this.
