MY SAY: The Navy knew and then told the coast Guard, that the Titan had imploded. The subsequent LIES and cost of the search should be squarely on President Biden's personal dime, not the taxpayers, who were led to believe there was hope the passengers and crew of the ill-fated submersible were still alive, all during his son, Hunter's legal troubles.

Any of us who know anything about submarines knew that it was lost even without audio evidence. The communication technology doesn't fail often, and that was a pretty big giveaway. Second was the depth that comms were lost. They were close to the Titanic when they lost comms, which is why the wreckage is 1600ft from Titanic. Becoming ensnared on something could have been an issue, but I've been saying since Monday that they had imploded and that they weren't going to find survivors.
Now they are looking at recovery ops, which is completely asinine. There is nothing to recover except scrap metal. This is now a resting place. Leave it where it is.
