No, There's Not a Backlash Against a Black 'Little Mermaid'

I've been watching friends and family freaking out over the Conservative/GOP response to casting a Black "Little Mermaid" and wondering what the hell they're talking about. I haven't heard any conservative/GOP response or anyone else's but theirs. Have you? Seems like just another example of "strawman" propaganda. Attribute something negative to your favorite opposition and then go bat guano crazy refuting it... [BTW, I'm rooting for Idris Elba to play Bond. I'm a big fan and think he's the strongest male leading actor in films these days]
