The need for politicians to "do something" many times out weighs common sense.

Sometimes bad things happen to good folks. As long as there are bad folks in the world, these types of tragic events will occur.

Now is the time to slow down, determine what occurred and how, then carefully decide what, if anything can be done to prevent future acts.

If politicians want to do something, First check all anti-gun laws, repeal any duplicate laws! Second check for any unfunded and/or unenforced laws, repeal these, and if a legislator wishes to reintroduce that law, they must fund the bill, and define the agency responsible to enforce the law if passed! Third NO ONE is allowed to be exempted from the law, no politician, jurist, union boss, billionaire lobbyist, anti-gun group members. They should not be allowed to own or possess guns, ammunition, CCW permits. or hire or be assigned armed security! If they must obey the laws as they should, they may work to pass sensible laws!

Two posts in a row we agree on something...no I'm not at all surprised. Yes I agree there is a far bigger issue behind this latest atrocity that has nothing to do with gun control, 2nd amendment, and gun manufacturers.
