Noam Chomsky: Donald Trump is a Distraction

Same old narrative from Chomsky. An educated and thoughtful man, though one that has never held elective office, never served in the military, has spent a career pointing at faults. Nothing wrong with that, I suppose. For me the kicker is that it is opinion, and everyone has got one. Global Warming... I read the majority of the scientific community agrees that Global Warming is occurring, what the majority don't agree on is why. From what I've read, and heard, Global warming is a naturally occurring phenomenon enhanced by animal, human and otherwise, activity, but that's my opinion. I've not seen anything about Pres. Trump building walls around is golf resorts, at least not at Turnberry here in Scotland. Threat of Nuclear War? Yeah, it's out there, and it's a scary prospect, but its not us making the threats. The U.S. pulls out of the Iran deal, okay, it upsets Iran and the status quo, so what is the first action by the peace loving Iranian government?? Missile strike on Israel. The DPRK announces it is developing it's nuclear capability, test fires missiles over one of our allies. Who's the provocateur, the Republicans?
Chomsky is a clever guy, but he aint that clever.
