The Rasmussen page says 48% on 26 May...

for all those who said "right track" I wonder how many said that because of the unprecedented number of court orders and injunctions, or in spite of them, and how many were unaware of them.

Rasmussen is somewhat of an outlier. Regardless, this tightening makes some sense, given that conservatives detested Biden and progressives were never thrilled with him (since he is more of a moderate). That gives Trump a higher floor, since he actually plays to the far right (which Biden rarely did to the far left). And, the right track numbers shifted the day of the election, which implies that it's more partisan thinking than being based on the reality of what people are seeing on the ground. The country didn't make a pivot turn on Jan. 21st.

I don't think judges playing tank man in front of the Trump agenda would cause anyone to say "right track." They're reacting to what Trump is trying to do, which is fulfill campaign promises, like them or not, they're not reacting to "temporary injunctions" or orders to bring a wife beating illegal alien human smuggler back to Maryland.

LTC Matthew Schlosser - okay, Trump is trying to fulfill campaign promises, but there was at least one legal way to do everything he's done so far that resulted in a court order or injunction. Why not just do it the legal way?
What is so hard about governing without breaking the law? We used to do it every day...

Also, there is no evidence, or even a charge, that Kilmar Garcia smuggled any human other than himself.
