Normal occurrence during my time in the JSA, especially that propaganda over those loudspeakers.

CPT Paul Whitmer, there were 24 tunnels built across the line and some were large enough to allow a brigade size element; is this accurate?

Hard to say Gene - we (US Army) had responsibility over just a fraction of the DMZ - the rest was ROK AOR. Granted - the Imjin made up a majority of that. Were there tunnels in the ROK areas? - surely. I still have my map - with every enemy position annotated.

CPT Paul Whitmer, very interesting indeed. What are your thoughts about USAG-Korea and the UNC PCSing to Camp Humphreys from Yongsan?

Probably a good move - as we've given up the DMZ mission entirely to the ROK there seems to be little gained by being in close proximity to NK forces. As Kim pushes towards "special weapons development" and reliable delivery systems - the farther south we move, the better. Put Seoul between us and them.

Been going on for decades. Media making a big deal since Kim had fun playing with the media with his disappearance act.
